Highlights of this opportunity:
- Contract spans from August 17, 2026, to June 4, 2027, ensuring consistent impact throughout the academic year.
- Two distinct roles available: support for an elementary caseload of 55 students and a preschool caseload of 40 students.
- Both positions are 35 hours per week, following a consistent 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily schedule, with a half-hour lunch.
- Work at a single welcoming site, making it easy to build meaningful relationships with students, teachers, and families.
- The preschool position offers some hybrid flexibility, though a strong preference is given to in-person engagement, allowing for a blend of professional autonomy and classroom connection.
Desired qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC credential.
- Previous experience working with elementary and/or preschool-aged children in a school setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the desire to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Ability to manage individualized caseloads and documentation efficiently.
- Compassion, patience, and creativity in tailoring interventions to student needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide direct speech/language therapy.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
- Consult with teachers and families to ensure holistic support for each student.
