Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY applicants encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in educational or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide individualized therapy services to students with communication and/or language disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise to support student academic and social development
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to fit students’ needs
- Educate staff and families on strategies to promote effective communication
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
