Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY applicants encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working in educational or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and provide individualized therapy services to students with communication and/or language disorders
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise to support student academic and social development
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to fit students’ needs
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to promote effective communication
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
