Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; open to CFY applicants
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans based on student needs
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Maintain clear and accurate student records and progress documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and professional standards
