Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or pending state licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; open to CFY applicants
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans based on student needs
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
  • Maintain clear and accurate student records and progress documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and professional standards
