Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with students, teachers, and parents
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language, voice, and fluency assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services tailored to student needs
• Document student progress, maintaining compliance with all regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student growth
• Educate and empower teachers and families with strategies to foster communication skills in the classroom and beyond
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing staff development
