What You’ll Do:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and school support staff.
- Deliver both direct therapy sessions and classroom-based interventions to best meet each student’s needs.
- Ensure documentation and progress reports are accurate and compliant with state and federal standards.
- Attend IEP meetings and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to holistically support students’ growth.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain one prior to the start of the school year.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children or in school-based settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, student-first mindset.
