Your primary focus will be collaborating with educational professionals and families to maximize student potential through individualized, evidence-based interventions.

What you'll bring:

  • A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • A valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to acquire one)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), preferred
  • Experience supporting elementary-aged children, ideally in a school setting
  • Strong skills in evaluation, therapy planning, and clear communication

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver both direct therapy sessions and integrated classroom-based support
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based conferences to advocate for students’ needs
