Step into a pivotal part-time role shaping student communication skills over the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) the chance to work closely with students and support an SLPA through effective supervision. You’ll be valued for your expertise as you collaborate with educational staff to help children achieve their communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid and active state license for SLP practice
  • Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP process and best practices in educational settings
  • Supervisory experience or a strong interest in mentoring/supporting an SLPA

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to a diverse student population in accordance with IEP goals
  • Oversee and guide the daily duties of an SLPA, ensuring quality services and professional growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliant records and progress notes
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to promote student success
  • Stay current with developments in SLP practices and school-based service delivery
