Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 learners as a vital contributor to a thriving school-based team. A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), where your expertise will help students discover their voice and achieve academic and personal success. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027, offering a stable, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Your role will focus on assessing student needs, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with educators and families to foster a supportive learning environment for students from kindergarten through high school. Use your knowledge and creativity to help each child reach their communication goals.

What we’re seeking:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid and current SLP license for Colorado (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • School-based SLP experience, ideally serving students in K-12 settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, families, and students
  • Proficiency in adapting sessions to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct evaluations to identify speech and language needs
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain detailed and timely records of student progress
  • Meet regularly with teachers and parents to review strategies and outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings as a resource for your student group
  • Advocate for your students’ communication needs across school environments
