A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), where your expertise will help students discover their voice and achieve academic and personal success. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027, offering a stable, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
Your role will focus on assessing student needs, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with educators and families to foster a supportive learning environment for students from kindergarten through high school. Use your knowledge and creativity to help each child reach their communication goals.
What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid and current SLP license for Colorado (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based SLP experience, ideally serving students in K-12 settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, families, and students
- Proficiency in adapting sessions to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
In this role, you will:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech and language needs
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and timely records of student progress
- Meet regularly with teachers and parents to review strategies and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings as a resource for your student group
- Advocate for your students’ communication needs across school environments
