Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Colorado Springs, CO

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid state licensure (Colorado or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services primarily to elementary students
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students with varying communication needs
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement interventions in the school setting
• Engage families in their child’s progress and provide resources as needed
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities
• Adapt services for students across grade levels, with openings in other age groups available
