This contract-to-hire position is designed for SLPs experienced with school-based services, including CCC-certified professionals and those passionate about making a difference in elementary education. With multiple full-time openings and the chance to work across grade levels, you’ll collaborate within a supportive team dedicated to student progress.
Your assignment begins August 3rd, focusing primarily on elementary-aged children. Each SLP manages a caseload of about 50 students, focusing on assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families. The schedule is 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to immerse yourself in supporting student growth while contributing your expertise.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility for appropriate licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized instruction
- SLPA applicants are encouraged and may be considered for future openings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy services to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress and communicate with educators, families, and staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
- Adapt services to meet the unique needs of a diverse caseload
