Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment near Colorado Springs. This contracted role offers the chance to work hand-in-hand with another dedicated SLP at the same site, providing a collaborative atmosphere and ongoing professional support. As you guide preschool students through their communication journeys, you’ll be essential in nurturing their growth and success.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Valid SLP licensure in the state or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY considered
  • Prior experience with school-aged or preschool caseloads is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Passion for making learning accessible and fun for young children

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to preschoolers, in both individual and group settings
  • Complete comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and the in-building SLP to develop IEP goals and tailor interventions
  • Track student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

Role Details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly
  • Schedules are either 7:15 am – 3:15 pm or 7:45 am – 3:45 pm, depending on assignment
  • Caseloads typically range between 40 and 60 preschool students
  • Work in a building with another SLP, ensuring professional camaraderie and resource sharing
  • Compensation ranges from $45 to $65 per hour, reflecting experience and credentials
