Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting near Colorado Springs, CO. This contract role offers the chance to collaborate closely with another experienced SLP within the building, ensuring robust support and professional growth. With a manageable preschool caseload ranging between 40 and 60 students, you’ll play a crucial role in helping young learners develop essential communication skills.

Your work schedule will align with typical school hours, either 7:15 AM – 3:15 PM or 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. You’ll find this role both fulfilling and balanced, allowing you to make a tangible impact on a vibrant school community while maintaining work-life stability. Compensation for this position reflects your expertise and dedication, offering a highly competitive rate between $45 and $65 per hour.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Colorado
  • Prior experience with preschool or early childhood populations strongly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with IEP procedures and implementation for school-based therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to preschool students
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
  • Provide direct and consultative speech/language services following best practices
