Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Colorado.
- Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for diverse student needs.
- Proficient in evaluating speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and administer evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals.
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and other professionals to support student success in the school setting.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with district policies and all applicable regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise and helping families navigate available resources.
- Offer consultation and strategies for classroom teachers to support student communication skills.
