Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado SLP License
  • ASHA Certification required (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential
  • Experience or strong interest in working within an elementary school environment
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to identified elementary-aged students
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings as needed
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Develop and contribute to IEPs, participating in meetings and IEP team planning
  • Adapt interventions to support students with diverse needs
  • Provide in-service training or guidance to school staff as appropriate
