Middle School Certified School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Colorado Springs, Colorado

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in grades K-8, located near the vibrant Colorado Springs area. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm. You’ll have the chance to work across both elementary and middle school settings, helping students find their voice and achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and certification
• Previous experience with elementary and/or middle school-age children is highly valued
• Ability to effectively manage a diverse K-8 caseload
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice in an educational environment

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders within the K-8 student population
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students’ unique speech and language needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create optimal learning environments
• Conduct direct and indirect therapy sessions, tracking progress and modifying interventions
• Document all services provided in accordance with school and legal guidelines
• Support and consult with staff to help integrate speech goals within the classroom
