Elementary Certified School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Colorado Springs, Colorado

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students with speech-language needs in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week, 7:15 am – 3:15 pm) offers immediate start and the chance to make a significant impact as you work with a diverse caseload of K–8 students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification and state licensure.
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school populations.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, support staff, and families.
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for K–8 students.
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services, both in individual and group settings.
• Consult regularly with classroom teachers and other school personnel to support student progress.
• Maintain detailed records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to support student academic and social success.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.
