Elementary Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Colorado Springs, CO

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based environment near Colorado Springs, CO. This assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a consistent commitment of 37.5 hours per week. With a daily schedule beginning around 7:30 a.m. and wrapping up by approximately 3:30 p.m.—varying by campus—you’ll engage directly with preschool and elementary students, making a significant impact on their communication skills during their formative years.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active state SLP license and certification required
• Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged children strongly preferred
• Solid foundation in school-based SLP services, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Dedicated, organized, and adaptable to school schedules and diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and intervention to preschool and elementary students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress according to school and regulatory standards
• Partner closely with educators and staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment
• Communicate proactively with families about student progress and strategies for home support
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall development of service plans
