The assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027, perfectly aligned with the academic calendar.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active, valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Previous experience working with preschool and elementary populations preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and progress-monitoring skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Up-to-date understanding of IEP development and implementation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech and language difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) based on each student’s needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to progress reports
  • Work closely with classroom educators, special education staff, and families to support academic and social success
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as required
  • Provide resources and strategies for teachers and parents to reinforce student growth
