Elementary Certified School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Colorado Springs, Colorado

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist to make a significant impact on young learners’ communication skills while working in a collaborative environment. The assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a consistent weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, and hours generally running from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (specific times may vary by school).

Desired Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certification as required for school-based practice
• Previous experience with preschool and/or elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress
• Capable of working across various school sites and adapting to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement therapy for students identified with speech and language needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ progress
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide insight into student needs
• Provide both direct and consultative services as needed to promote successful student outcomes
• Travel between assigned schools as necessary to serve caseload
