What You’ll Need to Bring:

  • Active credentials in Colorado as a Special Education teacher
  • Background in school settings, with demonstrated experience in SLP roles
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to manage both self-contained and resource caseloads across K-12
  • Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a consistently positive outlook
  • Dedication to fostering student growth with a collaborative approach

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a full spectrum of special education services to K-12 students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech, language, and communication needs
  • Write, update, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and related providers to support student progress
  • Document student goals, services delivered, and functional improvements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student support team discussions, and ongoing professional development

Your expertise will be valued with a pay rate ranging from $35–$50 per hour, commensurate with your experience and certification.
