Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state SLP license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Experience working with school-aged children, with knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work independently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostics to identify communication disorders among students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough records, progress reports, and IEP documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Stay current with best practices and new developments in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development
