School Speech Language Pathologist - Columbia City, Indiana

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state SLP license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
• Experience working with school-aged children, with knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
• Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work independently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostics to identify communication disorders among students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Maintain thorough records, progress reports, and IEP documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Stay current with best practices and new developments in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development
