Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Maryland state licensure and certifications (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience within a school or pediatric setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and adaptability when working with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Dedication to providing engaging and effective therapy to students of varying needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 22 students across the school week (35 hours)
- Assess, diagnose, and implement personalized treatment plans to address students’ individual communication challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure students’ progress and access to resources
- Document sessions, monitor students’ progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain compliance with state and district policies and best practices in speech-language pathology
