Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Maryland state licensure and certifications (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience within a school or pediatric setting preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability when working with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Dedication to providing engaging and effective therapy to students of varying needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 22 students across the school week (35 hours)
  • Assess, diagnose, and implement personalized treatment plans to address students’ individual communication challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure students’ progress and access to resources
  • Document sessions, monitor students’ progress, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain compliance with state and district policies and best practices in speech-language pathology
