Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license (or eligibility) in Maryland
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are also considered
  • Prior experience delivering SLP services in a school environment
  • Proficiency with evaluation tools, IEP development, and therapy for diverse speech/language disorders
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
  • Deliver targeted therapy in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student progress
  • Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide resources and strategies for classroom integration and generalization of skills
