With a balanced schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, your expertise as an SLP will be highly valued by students and colleagues alike.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with preschool and elementary school populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in both special education preschool and elementary environments
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, administration, and caregivers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapeutic strategies as needed
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary initiatives, and support a positive school culture
You will split your time between two vibrant learning communities, gaining impactful experience and professional growth throughout the school year, from August 2026 to June 2027.
