Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Columbia, SC

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll provide essential therapy services across two school settings—one elementary and one middle school—helping a diverse student caseload build communication skills and confidence. The assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, for 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility to obtain, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Prior experience with pediatric populations or in school settings is highly valued
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 45-50 students
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and integrate therapy into students’ educational plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support optimal student outcomes
• Track progress and document services in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Rotate between two campuses: one elementary and one middle school, adapting approaches to suit varying age groups
