As a valued member of this school-based team, you'll provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students, supporting their communication and language development. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective individualized education programs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to develop IEPs, conduct assessments, and maintain detailed records
  • Commitment to professional growth and collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions
  • Monitor and document student progress effectively
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Stay current with best practices and developments in speech-language pathology
