Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure and national certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience providing SLP services in school settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
  • Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor interventions for students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and parents
  • Flexibility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention programs based on IEPs and evaluation outcomes
  • Provide direct therapy and support, adapting methods to engage learners from diverse backgrounds and age groups
  • Maintain clear documentation of student progress, goals, and session outcomes in accordance with district and legal standards
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students’ academic and social success
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student growth
  • Stay updated on best practices, new techniques, and ongoing professional development in speech-language pathology
