Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and national certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience providing SLP services in school settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Demonstrated ability to tailor interventions for students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and parents
- Flexibility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention programs based on IEPs and evaluation outcomes
- Provide direct therapy and support, adapting methods to engage learners from diverse backgrounds and age groups
- Maintain clear documentation of student progress, goals, and session outcomes in accordance with district and legal standards
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student growth
- Stay updated on best practices, new techniques, and ongoing professional development in speech-language pathology
