Qualifications:

• Valid ASHA SLP License (CCC required)
• Professional Educator Alabama SLP Certification (verify via Alabama Department of Education)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to K-12 students (itinerant, approximately 60-student caseload)
• Manage split assignment between Shelby County High, Columbiana Middle, and Helena Intermediate Schools
• Conduct assessments and create IEPs in alignment with school and district policies
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student development
• Maintain detailed documentation and student records
