Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Columbus, Georgia

Step into a rewarding speech-language pathology role working with K-12 students in a supportive school environment near the Columbus, GA area. This in-person, contract opportunity is set to begin ASAP and runs through the end of the school year, with the benefit of managing small caseloads so you can provide dedicated attention to each student.

As an SLP certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you’ll make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents. Collaborate with a welcoming interdisciplinary team, contribute to student success, and help foster strong communication skills that set the foundation for lifelong achievements.

Candidates will bring the following to the table:

• Current SLP license and SLP-CCC certification
• Experience supporting pediatric and school-aged populations
• Ability to develop and implement tailored therapy plans for diverse K-12 caseloads
• Strong collaboration and mentorship skills with teachers and staff
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Enthusiasm for working on-site and engaging with students face-to-face

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting evaluations and assessments for students across K-12
• Designing and delivering individualized and group therapy sessions
• Tracking outcomes and documenting progress toward IEP goals
• Consulting and collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists
• Participating in IEP meetings and providing recommendations or progress updates
• Remaining up-to-date with state and school-based compliance standards

This contract role offers compensation starting at $47 per hour, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
