Make a meaningful difference supporting early childhood learners by providing essential speech and language services for a PreK setting. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from early August through Thanksgiving break and offers the flexibility to work either onsite or virtually.

Key qualifications:

  • Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a resource caseload for PreK students

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to PreK students, focusing solely on the resource caseload (approximately 70 students)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor students' Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and document progress
  • Collaborate closely with school teams to address each child's unique communication needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and reports
  • Consult and support school staff to promote positive speech and language outcomes
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and intervention strategies
