Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students in grades K-8 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position is available immediately and continues through the end of the school year.

Your role will center on providing speech and language therapy to an assigned caseload of 18 students, with service delivery totaling 2,700 minutes per quarter. Contribute up to 20 hours each week, allowing you to maintain flexibility and focus on delivering high-quality care to every child.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (Ohio)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations
  • Previous exposure to elementary and middle grades (K-8) preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards

Role responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of communication disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and families
  • Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student outcomes and support inclusive education
  • Consult and communicate regularly with families on student progress and strategies for continued growth
  • Attend relevant meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
