Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Background in school-based and pediatric SLP practice
- Proficiency in managing and delivering services in a K-12 environment
- Understanding of SLP best practices within school healthcare frameworks
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with IEPs and compliance with required documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 38 students
- Deliver a total of 7,160 minutes of therapy per quarter (max 30 hours per week)
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide insights for educational planning
- Guide and support teachers and families regarding strategies to promote student development
