Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Background in school-based and pediatric SLP practice
  • Proficiency in managing and delivering services in a K-12 environment
  • Understanding of SLP best practices within school healthcare frameworks
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with IEPs and compliance with required documentation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 38 students
  • Deliver a total of 7,160 minutes of therapy per quarter (max 30 hours per week)
  • Conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide insights for educational planning
  • Guide and support teachers and families regarding strategies to promote student development
