This contract position offers a positive, collaborative school environment near the Columbus, OH area, serving a diverse caseload of 38 students. You’ll play a vital role in supporting communication skills and academic success, working up to 30 hours per week with a total of 7,160 service minutes per quarter.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential required
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Proficiency in delivering healthcare-related SLP services within an academic setting
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12, both individually and in groups
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, monitor, and document individualized treatment plans and IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress
  • Participate in team meetings, eligibility meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with district and legal requirements
