Support a single school site near Colusa, CA, for a 160-170 day assignment, impacting a dedicated caseload of approximately 40-45 students ranging from transitional kindergarten through 5th grade. This is a chance to focus your expertise in a supportive educational setting while enjoying the satisfaction of helping young learners achieve their communication goals. Compensation for this role is between $60 and $70 per hour.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience delivering speech therapy services in a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of elementary educational environments and IEP process
  • Ability to develop and implement evidence-based therapy for a variety of speech and language needs
  • Commitment to collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff
  • Organizational skills to manage paperwork and adapt to changing schedules
  • Compassionate, patient, and creative mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments for students in grades TK-5
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Deliver therapy services one-on-one and in small group settings
  • Monitor student progress and maintain clear, accurate records
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with educational teams
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and caregivers to generalize communication skills
  • Participate in professional development and school-based initiatives as required
