School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Colusa, California

This contract role offers a 160-170 day assignment, working closely with a caseload of approximately 40-45 students in grades TK-5. You’ll play a vital part in each child’s educational journey, helping them develop essential communication skills and thrive in the classroom environment. Compensation for this position ranges from $60-$70 per hour, reflecting the valuable impact you’ll make.

Ideal candidates will offer:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly in early elementary grades
• Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Commitment to supporting students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Developing and managing IEP goals for each student on your caseload
• Providing direct and consultative therapy services individually and in small groups
• Monitoring progress and maintaining detailed session documentation
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
• Participating in IEP meetings, student support team meetings, and professional development
