Partner with a dynamic high school staff to deliver high-quality speech and language services in a supportive, educational setting. This full-time assignment spans four days per week and focuses primarily on a 9th-grade population with a manageable caseload of 35-45 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school setting or with adolescents highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed student records and complete all required documentation
- Empower students through creative, evidence-based intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
