This contract position focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services to a primarily 9th-grade population. With a caseload of 35-45 students, your expertise will be essential in promoting academic success and communication skills in a vibrant educational environment.

Your schedule offers work-life balance, covering a full-time workload across four days each week.

What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • State license or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong collaboration and organization skills
  • Passion for facilitating student growth and communication

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Providing direct therapy to students, with a focus on 9th graders
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborating effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Participating in IEP meetings and student support teams
  • Supporting transition planning for incoming high school students
