This contract position offers the opportunity to partner closely with educators to support academic and social success for students with diverse communication needs. Candidates with SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credentials are encouraged to apply.

This is an in-person role—remote and VOCO service providers will not be considered. Candidates should be ready for a two-step interview process (initial virtual interview, followed by an in-person meeting).

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or related field
  • Current California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
  • Experience in school-based settings or with high school-aged students preferred
  • Strong assessment, IEP development, and therapy skills for high school population
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Commitment to in-person work (remote/VOCO is not available for this role)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat high school students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate therapy records and required documentation
  • Participate fully in school meetings, interprofessional collaborations, and IEP teams
  • Engage students with evidence-based practice interventions
