This full-time role is tailored for professionals who are SLP-CCC certified or Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) eager to make a lasting impact in a vibrant educational setting. Based near Concord, CA, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, providing vital support to students as they develop communication and language skills essential for their academic and social success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current CA state licensure or eligibility (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF accepted)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with high school students
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to in-person therapy (strictly no teletherapy/VOCO)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct speech-language therapy to high school-aged students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs
  • Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer training and consultation to staff and families to maximize student achievement
  • Foster an inclusive, positive environment where all students feel supported and empowered

This full-year contract position promises a dynamic, hands-on experience in a lively high school environment. The district will prioritize scheduling interviews—expect a fast-paced two-step process including both virtual and in-person rounds.
