Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Valid and current SLP license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and school staff
- Genuine commitment to supporting diverse learners from Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group therapy to students with a range of speech and language needs, following IEP goals and school policies
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to maximize student communication and learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, offering your expertise and support
- Support a welcoming, inclusive environment for all students in the district
