School Speech Language Pathologist - Concord, CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license, or eligibility for licensure
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credentials
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Enthusiasm for working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
• Flexibility and organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students requiring speech and language services
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
• Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports
• Consult with teachers and parents regarding strategies for classroom and home settings
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school initiatives
