Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract basis starting in August. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, utilizing your clinical expertise within an educational setting.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold an active North Carolina SLP license (Speech-Language Pathologist)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience delivering SLP services in a school-based setting
  • Proficiency with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans and interventions
  • Complete thorough evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district policies
  • Collaborate with educators, multidisciplinary teams, and families to foster student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input for student supports
  • Support students’ communication needs through direct and consultative services

Position Details:

  • Contract spanning August through early June (school year assignment)
  • Full-time schedule, approximately 37.5 hours per week
  • School placement to be determined

Additional Information:

  • Interviews will be conducted virtually via Zoom
