Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract basis starting in August. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, utilizing your clinical expertise within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active North Carolina SLP license (Speech-Language Pathologist)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience delivering SLP services in a school-based setting
- Proficiency with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Complete thorough evaluations and re-evaluations
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district policies
- Collaborate with educators, multidisciplinary teams, and families to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input for student supports
- Support students’ communication needs through direct and consultative services
Position Details:
- Contract spanning August through early June (school year assignment)
- Full-time schedule, approximately 37.5 hours per week
- School placement to be determined
Additional Information:
