Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and language development during a maternity leave, starting mid-March and extending through the end of the school year. Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY and CCC-SLPs encouraged to apply) or current SLPA license
  • Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school or healthcare environments
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Comfort with supervising and collaborating with an on-staff SLPA, if needed
  • Passion for working with early childhood (EC) students

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 32 early childhood students, addressing speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster student success
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school requirements
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to the SLPA, ensuring best practices and continuity of care
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered school environment

Work Schedule & Additional Details:

  • Four full workdays each week, with a possible half day on Wednesdays
  • Each day consists of 6 ½ work hours
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated SLPA
