A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide maternity leave coverage in a school setting in Concordia, MO. This position offers a focused and manageable work schedule supporting early childhood students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to an early childhood caseload of approximately 32 students
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to the communication needs of pediatric learners
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to maximize student progress
- Supervise SLPA services as needed to ensure quality care and align with treatment goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports consistent with school requirements
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid SLP certification (CCC preferred) or appropriate credentials for SLPA roles
- Experience working in school and pediatric healthcare settings
- Current knowledge of early childhood communication disorders and intervention techniques
- Ability to supervise and support SLPA team members effectively
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Position Details:
