Speech Language Pathologist in Conover, NC

Make an impact working directly with elementary and middle school students near Conover, NC, in a contract-based role within a dynamic school setting. This full-time opportunity spans from August 13, 2026, through May 28, 2027, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., supporting a diverse caseload. The focus will be on delivering speech-language services in a collaborative, onsite environment that values dedication and skill.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Holds an active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
• Accepts both CCC-SLP credentials and Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF)
• Experience supporting elementary and middle school caseloads preferred
• Proficient in providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for school-aged children
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to working exclusively onsite for the contract duration

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-8 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Maintain clear, organized documentation and progress reports
• Engage in ongoing communication with educators and caregivers regarding student progress
