Speech Language Pathologist in Conover, NC

Step into a pivotal role working with elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, school-based position runs from August 13, 2026, to May 28, 2027, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant educational setting. Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current, active North Carolina SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Successful experience providing speech-language services in schools preferred
• Ability to work effectively with elementary and middle school populations
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students in need of speech-language services
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students, focusing on enhancing speech, language, and communication abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for ongoing student support
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP and staff meetings to support student progress
