Step into a dynamic contract opportunity dedicated to supporting student communication needs within a school environment. This 13-week assignment begins 8/10/26 and extends through 11/2/26, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact over a standard 37.5-hour work week. The school is seeking professionals who are passionate about fostering communication development in children and adolescents.

Preferred candidates will bring expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), ideally with either CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or are in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). An enthusiasm for working in school-based settings is highly desired, helping ensure a positive and collaborative therapeutic experience for students and staff alike.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Valid state SLP licensure (or the ability to promptly obtain one)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical experience considered
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech/language services to students, including screenings, evaluations, and therapy
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as required
