This 13-week assignment begins 8/10/26 and extends through 11/2/26, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact over a standard 37.5-hour work week. The school is seeking professionals who are passionate about fostering communication development in children and adolescents.
Preferred candidates will bring expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), ideally with either CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or are in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). An enthusiasm for working in school-based settings is highly desired, helping ensure a positive and collaborative therapeutic experience for students and staff alike.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Valid state SLP licensure (or the ability to promptly obtain one)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical experience considered
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language services to students, including screenings, evaluations, and therapy
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as required
