You'll contribute your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC, working alongside dedicated educators to make a meaningful impact during a critical time.
Key Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Solid understanding of ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) documentation and meetings
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnostics, and delivering speech therapy to school-age children
- Effective communicator and collaborative team player
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare for and attend ARD meetings, ensuring all documentation and reports are up to date
- Manage a small student caseload, delivering individualized or group therapy
- Conduct testing and assessments for students as needed
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to develop and support IEP goals
- Maintain comprehensive records, progress notes, and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to support students’ language development
