Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech/language therapy to students, tailored to their unique needs
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s communication goals and educational progress
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports in a timely manner
- Educate students, families, and school personnel on effective communication strategies
- Stay current with best practices, therapies, and resources for school-based speech-language services
