Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license for Georgia (SLP License or GaPSC Certification required; candidates must eventually obtain both)
  • Open to Speech-Language Associates (SLAs) with GaPSC certification; SLPAs are not eligible
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or working toward Clinical Fellowship (CF)
  • Previous experience in K-12 school settings is valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a commitment to student progress

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse student caseload in an onsite, school-based setting
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and document intervention outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Consult regularly with teachers, families, and staff to enhance student success
  • Participate in meetings, training, and ongoing professional development
