Step into a fulfilling opportunity to support K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract role set to begin in late July 2026 and conclude in May 2027. This full-time position offers you the chance to make a lasting difference in the academic and personal journeys of young learners, all while working within a collaborative and resource-rich school environment. You'll also enjoy the benefit of working alongside an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), providing you with valuable support as you deliver services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy to K-8 students, addressing a range of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
  • Maintain detailed documentation and write progress reports in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to your SLPA partner
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment
