Step into a fulfilling opportunity to support K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract role set to begin in late July 2026 and conclude in May 2027. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy to K-8 students, addressing a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
- Maintain detailed documentation and write progress reports in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to your SLPA partner
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment
