As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide vital services to preschool-aged students for the 2026-2027 school year. Your work will begin in mid-August, where you will join a collaborative environment alongside three fellow SLPs, allowing you to share insight and support as you make a meaningful difference in each child’s development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially early childhood or preschool
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Michigan
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for speech and language in school settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services 2 days per week to preschool students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with a team of SLPs and early childhood staff to ensure effective service delivery
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning for student support
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Engage families and caregivers in supporting communication development at home
