School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

Experience the rewarding opportunity to support student communication and growth as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. This full-time, contract position is ideal for professionals skilled in both therapy and collaboration, providing essential leave coverage for the upcoming school year.

Beginning September 14, 2026, and continuing through approximately November 20, 2026, you’ll work with K-5th grade students across a manageable caseload of 55. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference by helping students develop key speech and language skills, supporting their success in educational and social settings.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or in Clinical Fellowship)
• Recent school-based, pediatric, or relevant experience preferred
• Strong skills in conducting speech/language evaluations
• Proficiency in writing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech/language therapy to students in grades K-5
• Evaluate students, document findings, and determine eligibility for services
• Write and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment
