Empower students to communicate confidently by supporting their speech and language development in an educational setting. This contract opportunity seeks two experienced Speech Language Pathologists to serve K-12 students, focusing on assessment, intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams. Full-time schedules run from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, featuring a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The first position spans from after August 14, 2026 (pending board approval) through November 4, 2026; the second extends from after August 14, 2026 (pending board approval) through January 4, 2027, with possible extension.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure for practice
- Minimum one year of recent experience in a school-based setting (CFY applicants will not be considered)
- Proficiency with IEP development and documentation
- Experience supporting pediatric populations, including elementary through high school
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and traditional in-person services
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with school staff and families
- Deliver direct therapy to students with diverse communication needs, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultative support and training to classroom teachers and staff
