This contract position offers full-time hours—35 hours per week—with an urgent need for a skilled, bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to assist with bilingual assessments and help elevate the standard of speech-language services.
Ideal candidates will possess the expertise to navigate school-based caseloads, conduct thorough bilingual evaluations, and collaborate closely with other SLPs. Your proficiency in both English and a second language will be highly valued as you provide critical services for students from diverse backgrounds.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience providing pediatric, school-based, and/or healthcare speech-language pathology
- Skills in bilingual assessment; fluency in English and a second language
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or with prior school-based SLP experience welcomed
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and score bilingual speech-language assessments
- Support and collaborate with other SLPs on report writing and eligibility determination
- Deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate speech services
- Maintain timely documentation and adhere to district/school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with multicultural families
