Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare educational reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student goals
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer guidance, resources, and training to students, teachers, and families
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student achievement and self-advocacy
