Speech Language Pathologist in Corpus Christi, TX

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school staff
• Deliver therapy in individual and group settings, tailoring interventions to each student’s needs
• Maintain accurate case records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development sessions as needed
• Educate and consult with teachers and families on student needs and communication strategies
• Support students across various age ranges and grade levels
• Adapt therapy materials and approaches to align with each school’s culture and resources
