Requirements for this fulfilling role include:
- A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current NM RLD and NMPED licenses (or eligibility to obtain them)
- Open to both licensed SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered practice
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
As a key member of the educational team, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering engaging therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
- Providing support and education to staff and families regarding speech and language concerns
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student support strategies
