This full-time position is available for an immediate start, continuing through the end of the school year. Make a difference by supporting a variety of students as you travel to multiple campuses, providing high-quality speech and language services.
Candidates must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and have experience working in school settings. Flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills are key, as you’ll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families across diverse campuses.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in public school environments preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage itinerant caseloads
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for supporting children’s academic and social success
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication needs across several schools in the county
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Travel as needed to assigned campuses, delivering direct and consultative services
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly communicate updates with families and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, staffings, and professional development as required
- Serve as a resource for faculty, supporting inclusive classroom practices
