A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Cortland, NY. This contract position offers a comprehensive experience working with students across the full grade spectrum, providing valuable support to enhance communication skills in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptable for some candidates
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services
  • Skilled in teletherapy service delivery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to working with children and school staff
  • Valid licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in New York State
