Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP and relevant certification (CCC-SLP or CFY)
- Prior experience in a school environment preferred, but open to new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and school-based speech therapy services
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
- Attend meetings and provide input for IEP development and progress reviews
