Primary responsibilities include delivering speech and language therapy, developing and implementing IEPs, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with educators and families to create consistent support strategies. The caseload consists of 19 students (with the potential for additional speech improvement cases), primarily serving grades K-4 and a couple of middle school students.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Valid state licensure/certification appropriate for schools
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
  • Experience with school-based speech therapy, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy settings is a plus
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in a school environment
  • Develop, update, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations and maintain thorough progress documentation
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff on student needs and strategies
  • Support speech improvement interventions as needed
  • Attend meetings related to student goals and performance
