Make a difference in the lives of young children by serving as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist providing leave coverage in a supportive school setting near Corunna, MI. This opportunity runs from 1/25/27 through 4/30/27, offering you a rewarding chance to work with a Birth-Three caseload for 40 hours per week.

In this important role, you’ll provide direct speech-language therapy services, evaluations, and support for children in their earliest years—helping them develop essential communication skills. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to create meaningful, individualized treatment plans designed to maximize student growth and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Michigan state license (or eligibility)
  • Experience or interest in pediatric populations, particularly ages Birth-Three
  • ASHA Certification (CCC), Clinical Fellowship (CFY), or strong school-based/SLP experience
  • Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy for a Birth-Three caseload
  • Maintain thorough documentation of sessions, progress, and assessments
  • Participate in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) or Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Educate and empower families to reinforce therapy techniques
  • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Monitor, assess, and adjust therapy plans based on student progress
